Loving Others Through Allah’s Names

Aug 18, 2021

My servant continues to draw near to Me with supererogatory works so that I shall love him.

Bukhari (6502)

A Cherished Muslimah loves others as she knows that this is a great way to gain Allah’s love. She gives her smiles, compliments, admiration, gifts, and time to her loved ones as an act of slavehood to her creator. And as she sees it as worship, she endeavors to gives love unconditionally, for the sake of Al-Wadud, the Loving, even if she doesn’t feel particularly loving!

Say: Truly, my prayers, my sacrifice, my life and my death, are (all) for Allah, the Lord of the Worlds.’

Al Anaam (6:162)

Smiling is infectious, you catch it like the flu,

When someone smiled at me today, I started smiling too.

I passed around the corner, and someone saw my grin.

When he smiled, I realised I’d passed it on to him.

I thought about that smile; then I realised its worth.

A single smile, just like mine, could travel round the earth.

So, if you feel a smile begin, don’t leave it undetected.

Let’s start an epidemic quick and get the world infected!
